MAKERKIDS:

USABILITY CASE STUDY

MakerKids is a company that allows children and students to learn robotics, code, and educational Minecraft teachings. The company is looking for a redesign of the existing website. Our objective was to make the overall website easier to navigate, increase credibility, improve registration, and improve website design for users to have an easy experience.

The goal of this project was to redesign MakerKids menu, homepage, registration page, franchise page, scheduling, increase credibility, and to clear up the repetition. The Design Thinking Process and Usability Research/Testing process were used in order to create a working prototype that will further achieve MakerKids’ needs.

MIXTAPE:

BRAND DESIGN CONCEPT

This was a team project where I worked with a group of students to create a brand concept. I worked as an Interactive Designer. Some roles other students took on were Product Owner, SCRUM Master, and Developer. We conducted UX research and design methods such as storytelling, persona making, competitor analysis and much more.

Mixtape is a novelty generative art site where you could create album/playlist covers that could export to Spotify or other streaming services. Users can upload their own assets or use a pre-made library of stickers or generate their own stuff completely within the site.

JIMMY JAZZ:

DATA VISUALIZATION

JimmyJazz is one of the leading urban clothing retailers on the east coast. Having over

170 stores in the United States with over 30 of them being in New York City, JimmyJazz is

constantly expanding. The goal of this data visualization project was to understand how to use Tableau and other sources to visualize different forms of data. The forms of data ranged from physical to digital allowing the analysis of peer competitors and potential advantages recognizable. Mathematical calculations were also applied in order to figure out specific gaps and problems within JimmyJazz's data structure.
